Not very long ago I faced, two fishermen felt a hurricane on their boat. When it was over, they were looking over the damage when they saw an adorable baby on a turtle’s back, in the middle of the humongous dark blue Ocean. The baby had a smile on his face and had bluish greenish eyes. It looked like the baby came from the direction from Italy, they said. The two fishermen took the baby to their home in California. The fishermen told there family the story and they were all surprised that the baby didn’t drown. “It’s a miracle!” one of them said. “Why don’t you and your wife adopt him since you only have one child?” One of the fishermen suggested. So Ernesto (the fisherman) brought the baby home and raised him as his own, with his wife. The fisherman and his wife named the baby Humphrey Einstein III. Humphrey’s sister Stephanie is his best friend. When Humphrey turned three he learned how to swim on his own, even if it was really deep. His parents thought he was half fish. When Humphrey turned six his favorite place to go was the beach. It was a good thing, he did live one block away from the beach. Humphrey would say, “I want to go to the beach!” And “We do live in California!”
The beach in Malibu, California was beautiful! It was like heaven on Earth. The water was baby blue, the palm trees gave a cool shade, and the peachy colored sand smelled like coconuts. Humphrey always smelled like sun scream and fish. It was usually sunny and the sky would be painted blue. That was where Humphrey would always be. His parents would always take him there. Sixteen years later Humphrey grew up to be a really excellent young adult. He was pleasant, charming, trust worthy and good looking. He is tan 5 feet 8 and has a six-pack. His smile makes everyone else smile. One day Humphrey and his sister were having a conversation. “Hey!” said Stephanie. “Hey,” he replied. “When I was walking home from school I saw a flyer that said that the life guard captain was hiring new life guards, I thought about you since you love the Ocean!” she said happily. “Really?” he asked “Yes!" Stephanie said, “Here’s the flyer.” The next day Humphrey went to the beach. He was wearing a white Hollister shirt, sunglasses, man sandals and Hollister swim bottom. He went to the beach to see if he could start his training. He did! It only took him four days out of four months of training, to get the job. The life guards gave him his own whistle that had his name on it, Humphrey loved it and it was always on his neck. It helped him a lot. Humphrey started right away, he loved it! When he is on break he would go for a swim by himself. He would get even faster as days went by. One day during his swim break, a man came up to him. The man looked 5 feet and 5 inches he was shorter than Humphrey probably was in his 30s had bright blonde hair and was chunky and had a deep voice. The man was wearing a dirty plaid shirt and ripped up shorts. The man smelled like rotten chicken. “I’ve heard you’re a really fast swimmer!” the man said “I am!” Humphrey replied proudly. “I bet you my boat can beat you!” the man bragged. “To where?” Humphrey asked, “It doesn’t even matter I can beat anyone or anything!” “You wish!” the man said. “No I know!” Humphrey replied, “Oh it’s on!” “Tomorrow at four!” The man screamed. “From here to Japan and back!” “Bye!” Humphrey said. Later that day, Humphrey swam to Japan and back in 30 minutes, he was sure that he was ready. Humphrey swam to Japan because Japan is close to California where he lives so he tries to get faster every time he swims to Japan and back. Plus the race was going to be to swim from Malibu beach to Japan and back. Humphrey knew that his whistle would help him so he took it off for the first time. He put it on his night stand that it would not get destroyed. The next day It four in the afternoon and the man showed up right on time. They were about to start. 5, 4,3,2,1! You could no longer see them. They were going extremely fast. Twenty minutes past and there was still no sign of anything. Finally they saw something big coming towards them. It was the man’s boat! Alongside it, they saw Humphrey coming towards them. He was coming so fast, faster than anything they had ever seen. Humphrey passed the boat. Yay! Humphrey had won and everyone was cheering. Three hours later, Humphrey went for a relaxing swim never returning. He died because he was extremely tiered from the swimming. It’s been said that when you go to the ocean and a big wave comes, it’s him swimming happily.
